membuat nomor halaman angka dan romawi dalam satu documents

Dalam membuat sebuah buku, skripsi, proposal atau apalah namanya yang berupa naskah dengan banyak halaman, biasanya disertai dengan halaman daftar isi yang memuat topic atau bahasan yang ada dalam buku atau skripsi tersebut dan dicantumkan juga nomor halaman atau page number.

Dalam aturan pemberian nomor halaman terdapat dua format nomor halaman, yaitu format nomor halaman dengan angka romawi kecil, dan penomoran halaman dengan menggunakan angka standart. Penomoran halaman dengan angka romawi kecil yaitu I, ii, iii, dst biasanya diberikan mulai halaman judul, abstrak, halaman pengesahan, halaman motto, sampai dengan halaman daftar isi atau kata pengantar. Sedangkan normor halaman yang menggunakan angka standart 1, 2, 3, dst diberikan pada halaman Bab I Pendahuluan dan seterusnya.

Dan biasanya aturan letak memberikan nomor halaman juga berbeda. Halaman judul sampai dengan kata pengantar yang menggunakan angka romawi kecil biasanya terletak di bagian footer dan center (berada di tengah-tengah). Sedangkan halaman BAB I Pendahuluan dan seterusnya menggunakan angka standart dan nomor halamannya terletak pada footer sebelah kanan (right) kecuali pada setiap halaman BAB berada pada header ( atas) sebelah kanan.




Untuk mengatur seperti tersebut diatas, biasanya penulis atau yang ngetik naskah membagi menjadi dua atau tiga file yang terdiri dari file yang berisi halaman judul dan satunya lagi file dengan halaman dengan nomor angka standart (BAB I, dst). Namun hal tersebut dapat kita jadikan menjadi satu file saja yang terdiri dari halaman dengan nomor romawi dan halaman dengan nomor angka standart. Untuk itu anda harus membuat section break. Dan berikut ini caranya :

1. Ketik semua naskah buku, skripsi, proposal, laporan dan sebagainya.
2. Untuk membuat nomor halaman romawi pada halaman judul sampai kata pengantar, klikinsert, pada group menu Header&Footer klik Page Number kemudian pilih Bottom of pagedan pilih Plain number 2  

• Maka halaman 1 akan terlihat pada halaman judul. Untuk merubah angka standart menjadi angka romawi, klik pada page number dan pilih Format page numbers.

• Pada number format pilih i,ii,iii,…. Dan klik OK, maka nomor halaman akan berubah dari angka1 menjadi i (angka romawi 1)

• Sampai disini semua halaman menggunakan angka romawi kecil.
• Untuk membuat halaman BAB I Pendahuluan dan seterusnya menjadi angka standart dimulai dari angka 1 tanpa merubah format nomor halaman sebelumnya, maka halaman BAB I harus dibuat section break. Caranya adalah letakkan kursor pada halaman BAB I atau halaman yang nomor halamannya akan dirubah. Kemudian klik Ribbon Page Layout, dan klik Breakspada group menu Page setup. Kemudian klik atau pilih Next page. Sampai disini new section break telah terbentuk.
• Klik ganda pada Footer / nomor halaman BAB I, pada ribbon design, group menu navigation, nonaktifkan tombol Link to previous. Klik tombol tersebut sehingga tidak berwarna kuning lagi.

1. Hapus nomor halaman tersebut, kemudian pada ribbon design, group menu Header&Footer klik page number. Dan pilih format page numbers.

• Pada number format ubah i,ii,iii,…. Menjadi 1,2,3,… kemudian pada pilihan start at pilih 1 dan klik OK.

• Sampai disini sudah berubah, yaitu halaman judul sampai dengan kata pengantar menggunakan format nomor halaman menggunakan angka romawi kecil sedangkan pada halaman BAB I Pendahuluan menggunakan nomor halaman angka standart.
• Untuk pengaturan letak halaman pada prinsipnya menggunakan cara yang sama yaitu menghilangkan fungsi link to previous dan start at pilih secara manual halaman yang anda butuhkan.Setelah pengaturan diatas, maka dalam satu file nomor halaman berbeda-beda formatnya, ada nomor halaman dengan format angka romawi i,ii,iii,… dan ada juga nomor halaman yang menggunakan angka standart / Arabic 1,2,3,…

Langkah persiapan yang harus dilakukan di sini ialah melakukan setting pada heading style yang akan digunakan beserta memberikan penomoran pada halaman dokumen.

1. Atur Heading Style pada Dokumen

Heading style merupakan suatu fitur yang terdapat pada Microsoft Word yang dapat digunakan sebagai template untuk judul atau subjudul berdasarkan tingkatan atau levelsubjudul tersebut. Fitur heading style berada di bagian Home.

Klik kanan pada Heading 1 -> Modify…

Pada window Modify Style yang muncul, lakukan pengaturan model header yang Anda inginkan. Yang paling penting adalah lakukan pengaturan numbering untuk header tersebut dengan cara klik tombol Format -> Numbering…

Pada window Numbering and Bullets yang muncul, pilih model numbering yang Anda inginkan. Misalnya untuk header level 1 ini kita akan menggunakan penomoran dengan huruf kapital.

Ulangi kembali langkah-langkah mengatur heading style ini pada Heading 2 dan Heading 3 untuk template header level 2 dan header level 3. Berikan penomoran yang berbeda dengan header level 1, misalnya penomoran dengan angka untuk header level 2 dan penomoran menggunakan huruf kecil untuk header level 3. Setelah selesai, heading styleakan tampak seperti gambar berikut:

2. Berikan Nomor Halaman

Untuk membuat daftar isi tentu saja dibutuhkan nomor halaman sebagai petunjuk di halaman berapa suatu judul atau subjudul berada. Untuk memberikan nomor halaman dokumen pada Ms. Word, klik tab Insert, lalu pada bagian Header & Footer klik Page Number. Pada menu drop down yang muncul pilih posisi dimana nomor halaman akan diletakkan. Misalnya pilih Bottom of Page -> Plain Number 3 untuk meletakkan penomoran halaman di pojok kanan bawah halaman.

3. Mulai Mengisi Dokumen

Setelah pengaturan heading style dan pemberian nomor halaman selesai dilakukan, Anda dapat mulai mengisi dokumen Anda tersebut. Jangan lupa kosongkan satu halaman khusus untuk meletakkan daftar isi yang akan di-generate nanti. Hal yang harus selalu diperhatikan pada saat mengisi dokumen tersebut ialah gunakan heading style yang telah dimodifikasi sebelumnya saat menuliskan header atau judul maupun subjudul pada setiap pembahasan.

B. PEMBUATAN DAFTAR ISI

Saat dokumen Anda sudah selesai diisi, baik keseluruhan atau hanya sebagian, Anda dapat mulai membuat daftar isi. Langkah-langkahnya adalah sebagai berikut:

1. Letakkan pointer pada halaman kosong yang telah disediakan sebelumnya khusus untuk daftar isi.
2. Klik tab References -> Table of Contents -> Insert Table of Contents…
3. Pada window Table of Contents yang muncul, pastikan checkbox Show page numbers dan Right align page number dalam keadaan tercentang dan pilih bentuk pemisah antara nama header dengan nomor halamannya pada combobox Tableader yang Anda inginkan.
4. Pastikan pula checkbox Use hyperlinks instead of page numbers dalam keadaan tercentang. Pilihan ini untuk mengaktifkan fungsi daftar isi sebagai link ke bagianheader yang diklik nantinya.
5. Lalu pada bagian general, pilih Formats: From Template dan Show levels: 3.
6. Klik tombol OK.

Secara otomatis akan muncul daftar isi yang berisikan nama-nama header pada dokumen Anda tersebut.

Jika terjadi perubahan pada dokumen Anda, maka untuk meng-update daftar isi, Anda hanya perlu melakukan klik kanan pada bagian daftar isi. Lalu pada menu pop up yang muncul pilih Update Field.

Selanjutnya pada window Update Table of Contents yang muncul, pilih radio button Update entire table dan klik tombol OK. Secara otomatis bagian daftar isi dokumen Anda akan berubah sesuai dengan bentuk dokumen Anda yang baru.
